led by Lisa Ferguson Crow of Hawthorne Hill Herbs

Join us starting Wednesday January 11, 2012 to learn and explore the many uses of wild and cultivated plants/herbal medicines. All classes thereafter will be the third Wednesday of the month. Each month we will discuss one herb or topic in depth including medicinal uses, cultivation, wild-crafting, ethical harvesting, recipes, tasting and remedy making. We will study, not just what the uses of each plant are, but how to apply them simply, practically and inexpensively to improve daily health and wellness. There will also be time for discussion, general questions, suggestions for further study, and sharing of stories and experiences.  All skill levels are welcome and there is no prior knowledge or experience necessary.
