I am very excited to be collaborating on this series with Stephanie Joy Moore of
Food For The Soul. Stephanie creates delicious whole food meals for our local community and we decided to combine skills with me teaching about the medicinal qualities of common household herbs and spices, and her teaching us all how to prepare a delicious meal using them. Please look forward to at least 3 more of these classes as we plan to do one each season incorporating wild herbs/food as they become available.

Cooking with Herbs Class

January 8th from 11am-1pm
Join us in creating a delicious whole foods meal with several common kitchen herbs and spices. Cooking with herbs is an age old and traditional way to include medicine and added nutrition to modern diets that can be simple, efficient and inexpensive. We will make Winter Vegetable Stew over Quinoa and an Herb Salad Dressing. We will learn the medicinal benefits and current uses of all the herbs. This practice is a great way to nourish yourself, improve digestion, assimilation and over-all well being. This is the first class in a seasonal 4 part series.
Cost is $20 per class and includes all materials
